Polar Blue Parrot Fish

Description

These amazing colorful fish turn grey and blue. They have black stripes on their scales and orange-ish red colors on their stomachs. Polar blue parrot fish are great snail eaters! They are a hybrid between two different types of cichlids, a blood parrot cichlid and a convict cichlid. Cichlids tend to be aggressive because they are territorial, so they may attack other fish in the tank if they feel threatened. Be sure to give them room to swim, so no keeping them in 5 or 10 gallon tanks unless they are young. Over all, these fish are beautiful and amazing additions to most aquariums!
